Sleepy, gumpy, sneezy...not dopey

Firstly, ow! I have a bad back. Not incapacitating but enough that it's sore and it catches when I move, or stay still. Also, I'm brewing a cold. Well it feels like I am but I've felt like that for nearly a week now. I'm betting I actually get the cold on Friday night so I'm sick on my own time over the weekend. No fair.

Secondly, work...poo!

Thirdly, I've had an idea knocking round in my head for about a year now for an intermittent set of fics combining two of my loves, cooking and SGA. It's called Recipes from Pegasus. It'll be the notes/diary of the head chef of the Atlantis expedition. It's the lives of the expedition through food. It'll be an original character as the chef, but hopefully only as a vehicle to view the events and people of the expedition. Anyone fancy knocking the ideas around with me? Oh, and all the recipes will work.

Maybe it should be a com so anyone with Atlantis based food stories can post. What do you lovely people on my flist think?

I'm a geek...and I love it

They're low print run Ts based on movies. I bought an Outpost 31 (from the Thing) and a Nostromo (from Alien). They're nicely subtle so only fellow, sad movie geeks like me will get them. I thought about the Cyberdine industries on but it's a white T and I spill coffee and pasta sauce on white Ts :-)
