Feeling rubbish

I'm completely bored with being sick now. I got back from Berlin after New Year and went down with flu the day after. There was vomiting and shivering and general laying in bed feeling totally crap for 5 days. I went back to work, still feeling kind of rubbish but I can't have too many days off. I've had a cough since then which won't go, despite some fairly hideous cough medicine. Now, I've got a frigging cold. Totally pissed off by feeling crappy since the 4th Jan.

Also, the cat is still trying to win 'the war of the sofa'. We've been fighting over the same seat for about two weeks now. She's on is right now and I'd throw her off but she keeps going and vomiting on my clean washing out of spite every time I do.

And the cake I made or my mum's birthday didn't rise properly. Very annoyed with it. It tasted okay but the texture was all wrong.

Right, whine over. I'm going to take some more pills and read some porn to cheer myself up.

It involves having a smart phone that browses the web and a lot of meetings where the others are dialling in so can't see I'm not paying attention. I work for a mobile phone company so they give me endless phones that do this and pay the bills :-)
