People are strange
Mar. 4th, 2008 08:35 pmToday I saw something that made me laugh pretty muc all the way to work and also wonder about why people do odd things.
I passed an old beat up Fiat Panda (pic here of an example for people in US who don't understand small European small cars) and in it was a super massive bloke. I swear he filled all the space inside the car like someone had inflated him in there. He was obviously too tall for the thing so his head was bent over and pressed against the roof, but he was also immensely fat so he spread out sideways too. He was wearing an orange t-shirt which I'm sure didn't help but it looked like they'd made the car round him because there was no way he could have fit through the doors.
I couldn't help wondering why he had such a small car. I mean, I know he couldn't have spent more than about twenty quid on the thing because it was a heap of shit but I'm sure he could have bought a bigger heap of shit. I mean a larger car that was a heap of shit not a worse car.
Maybe he's stuck in it. Maybe he's expanded to fill the space because he couldn't get out one day and has had to remain wedged in there for years.
