Time flies

I can't believe how quickly it's come round but my trip to Las Vegas is now less than a week away. I fly on Saturday, via O'Hare. Not overly pleased with that but I console myself with the fact that O'Hare is better than London Heathrow. But then sticking hot pins in your eyes is probably better than flying through London Heathrow. I did become separated from my luggage last time I flew through O'Hare though so I'm hoping this won't happen as arriving in Las Vegas with no clean underwear is probably not fun. I think I'll slip a pair in my hand luggage.

What I really posted for was not to ponder my underwear but to ask if anyone has things I must see and do. I've got a couple of guide books and I'll be doing the regular sites on the Strip in my 3 days of vacation and the evenings of the days of the convention. I'm off for a day trip to the Valley of Fire too. Any tips for what's not worth bothering with on Strip so I don't waste my precious time.

Also, any must eat restaurants or must visit shops?
