Sooooooooo tired

I flew to Stockholm last night for a meeting. Should only be a 3.5 hour trip, even having to go via Copenhagen like we did because we booked late. But yesterday we were 2 hours and 20 mins late leaving Manchester so we missed our connection before we even left the UK. Anyway we got to Copenhagen and the airline had booked us on the first flight out in the morning and a hotel with taxis there and back in the morning. The hotel was out in the sticks and we got there about 1 am local (midnight for my body) and it was the weirdest place. My boss, who I was traveling with, said it looked a bit like a mental institution on the inside. Other than maybe missing windows in the doors of the rooms, she wasn't far off. I had to stand in the shower to close the bathroom door so I could get to the toilet, the bathroom was so tight.

Anyway slept for a whole 3.5 hours and then got up to catch a 5am (4 am to my very tired body) to the airport for a 6.20 flight. All day meetings, small doze on the plane back and then landed in Manchester at 6.10 this evening. Totally knackered. Must sleep but I want to see the end of Criminal Minds...snores...zzzzz....zzzzzz....

That sounds like the business trip from Hell; good lord, even old military barracks rooms aren't as bad as that hotel sounds. :-p I hope you get a chance to sleep in this morning and have a great weekend. :-)

The hotel was clean at least but grim. I slept in (as much as I ever do) and feel way better.
