Ever have one of those months?

I just can't seem to get my arse in gear to do anything. I have become even more apathetic than usual, or I'm really busy in RL. I can't decide. I can tell you I've been working on this for a couple of months in secrecy, even from most of my work colleagues, so it's been a bit hectic. Dad says I've got Base Camp Lethargy, which is a fictitious disease from the Goon Show (British comedy show from the 50s). But it sounds like how I feel.

I've hardly commented on anyone's fics or posts for about a month, apologies to you all for that, and I've certainly not written anything I can post in about a decade. I'm utterly stalled on Nephelai and my epic piece of kink is kind of stuck too (although it plays like the best porn in my head :-)

In fairness to myself I have been working on you lovely peoples christmas present, which is coming along nicely. I know it's only June but there's no telling if something will come up later in the year in RL. And I'll need time to do some creative layouts and printing :-)

Ah no, I'm from a company affected by the take over not from the taker-overers. Still, it was a lot of work as we needed to shake up our whole organization to deal with it.

It's not so much anal, as aware of my own tendencies to let things slide and get distracted by new things.

Considering how much overtime you've been putting into work, not to mention traveling hither and yon for work, it's no wonder you've "not been able to get your arse in gear". Hopefully things will simmer down sufficiently for you to do more non-work related things that you enjoy. :-)

Travelling does wear me out. I'm in Stockholm in a couple of weeks, just before I go off to San Diego. Still, it's all air miles :-)
