A Dell Inspirion 1545. A sleek, black, John Sheppard of a thing. Yum.

Course there were a few false starts, like the cable not working properly. The good thing is the one from my old Dell works fine with it. Hmmm, now it needs a restart. Ho hum

It's rather fabulous, although the sleekness of it all is a bit disconcerting as I keep thinking there's something just across the room as there's a reflection just to the right of the screen.

lol New things are always so cool, but it's the getting used to them that can be interesting.

Sweet! After looking it up, I can see why you described it that way, it really is. Are you running Vista on it, or some other OS? I'm dying to know what you think of Vista if that's what you're running.

As for the cable problem, now you see why I had to buy yet another cable. Dell's computers are decent, but the cables they sell are freakin' crap.

Also, are you going to try to find an Atlantis logo decal to put on the front? Then again, you may not want to do that, since you probably take it to the office with you.

However, if you do and you find the decals, please let me know where so I can pick a few up. Found 'em here if you want one.

This is home laptop so it never goes to work. I have one that work provide me too. That's at home too so there's 4 laptops at home now (old home and travel netbook). Bit of a nerd, me.

On my old work laptop I had a clone wars sticker. Not going to get an Atlantis one yet.

Yep, Vista. It seems okay but I would suggest getting a settings transfer cable as the file locations for user settings aren't the same as XP and transfering them over could be confusing. Besides this didn't stuff up and I just left it running. Bleeding fab.
