I got my contract yesterday and signed it today. The relocation people are looking for houses for me and I'm scared to death.

I still don't know exactly when I'll be moving over due to various stuff going on at work and the timing of a trip to Tokyo for me. I've done virtually no packing, well sorting out, as the removal company does the packing. But there's certain things I don't want to take with me and there's certainly things I don't want strangers packing, if you know what I mean.

I've booked my trip to a friends wedding in Boston at the end of May. Actually if you used to read Azrael's fics on Wraithbait, it's her wedding, and I'm very excited. Never been to Boston before so any tips for what to see and do gladly accepted. She's promised to take me to the Cape and do the whole Memorial Day BBQ thing with me, which is very cool.

Oh, and I've fallen in love with Leverage and Nate/Elliot as a pairing.

No idea how long I'll stay. Til I get a better offer I guess :-)

Should be fun, if a little nerve wracking.

Welcome to the wonderful country of pickled herring! Hopefully, the snow will have gone by the time you arrive... *kicks snow*

Yeah it just said on the radio it was snowing in Copenhagen which means it probably is in Lund. We don't get snow here really so it'll be exciting for a while.

Hopefully it's not obligatory to eat pickled herring. I'm not a massive fan.

Boston is so lovely! I recommend doing everything you possibly can! Actually, there's a place there that's kinda like Convent Garden (your friend who lives there should know what it's called), it's really cool and I'd definitely recommend it. There's a Holocaust memorial there, a huge glass thing that has to be seen to be believed.

Cool. I shall ask about what the Covent garden place is and I'll visit the Holocaust monument too. The one in Berlin is mind blowing and also almost too much to bear.

The first ep is good, but they're still finding their feet. Just re-watched ep 1 yesterday and ep 2 today, and it is very funny in places. Loads of one liners. And a cast that make it easy to read almost any fan fic pairing ans see it working.

Yay! You'll do great over there. And wonderful that they pack stuff for you, and find you a house.

Yes, the relocation package is pretty cool really. Still a bloody nightmare to do the sorting out before though. I'm sure it'll be cool though.

Noooo, what are you talking about? *makes big, innocent eyes*

Also, congratulations!

Well, there's that book with the men and the knots that we both own, for one. Other than that I'm not saying :-)

Late here, but I just wanted to say 'Yay!' about you getting your contract for Sweden! I hope they find a nice house for you that is within an easy commute of your new office. I'm glad to hear that they're sending folks in to do all of the actual packing and moving, that'll save you much pain (literally).

Leverage is a fun show! I've gotten hooked on it lately too and can hardly wait for the second season.

It's cool to finally get things sorted. I did a load of sorting and packing on the weekend and finally got a move over date from the boss today. 1st May. Gives me a bit more time to sort stuff, except I'll have to do a couple of trips to Tokyo in between so maybe not so much time.

They're filming the 2nd season in Oregon if you should find yourself being really obsessed :-)

Hmmmm...I'm not so much of a fan that I'd say I'm obsessed, but it would definitely be worth the short drive to check it out!

And Tokyo... You are quite the globe trekker for your company. I hope you get to have some fun while you're there!
