Happy birthday. I hope you have a fabulous day. I wrote you a little paragraph from the weird cheese and salty olives AU.
 

John slipped his hand into Rodney's and twined their fingers together, still marveling he was allowed to do this. Rodney's skin was warm and dry and just a little rough, perfect in John's mind. The owner of the hand raised an eyebrow at him, as though he knew just how much of a love struck fool his boyfriend was, but didn't say anything. Instead he squeezed John's hand and dragged him through the door of market, heading in the direction of the deli instead of the coffee counter. John knew it was Rodney's way of saying he was just as love struck as John was.

Is this the AU where we were talking about cooking and Rodney being freaked out by anchovies in John's pasta sauce? I like it, too! I should go find where we put that.

Yep, that's the one. For some reason it appeals to me, the apparent domesticity but they're still rubbish at feelings and the like.
