I read this story on the BBC news today and it made me smile. A) it's about antique cake, b) by the second paragraph I was already thinking of how to write a story that had Maj Lorne as a descendant of the Marquis of Lorne and then I saw the name of the dealer selling the cake!

I love the comment that one shouldn't eat the cake. Seriously. How buttfuck dumb does a person have to be to eat a 138 year old cake? And, if you *are* that dumb, you *should* eat it just to get yourself out of the gene pool.
