Going dark...

This is the last post until I get set up in Sweden. I fly out on Monday but the broadband is going off first thing tomorrow. How will I live?

I'm nervous I think but it's all buried under the knowledge about the packing/sorting I have to do. 2 full days left but still loads to do. On the plus side the cat now has her passport but I'm not moving her over until July. She's going to continue to stay at mum and dad's, driving them mad by galloping round the house at 4 in the morning. She is not the lightest footed of felines.

Just ripping the last of my cds, while I still have an internet connection, on to my hard drive so I can leave most of them behind. Most of the furniture has been given away/sold so I'm sat on a garden chair with things balanced on a very wobbly table that was in the shed and suffered rather badly when the roof leaked in there. That's going to the tip on Sunday. The lawn chairs are coming with me.

Having a leaving do on Sunday at my folks. Lots of family coming. Some of whom I've not seen for an age. I know I've going to another country but it's only 1.5 hours away! I'm quite sure I'll see some of these folks as often as I do now (xmas and a couple of other times a year). Mad really, but quite sweet.

Thanks. I'm hoping to be online by Monday evening but we'll see. I've got my emergency mobile broadband in case I need it but I don't want to use up all the credit too fast.

Consider them a moving present. Hope the new place is all okay. I've forgotten so many things and the remainder of my stuff doesn't get here until June so it's a case if making do until then.

All's well. The kitchen got installed yesterday, so I had a homecooked dinner today. The only problem is that I apparently didn't really think while packing, and now I'm looking for a lot of small stuff that's probably still in the remaining boxes. Somewhere. Well, at least those are here.

Why won't the rest of your stuff arrive until June? That's kind of a long way away.

I don't move into my permanant place until the middle of June so there's nowhere to put all my stuff until then. I had to pack one suitcase very carefully and hope for the best. It's okay about from a couple of stupid things that I forgot.

I downloaded a heap of tv to my external harddrive so I'm set for things to do. I might even get round to writing something (Nephelai?) once I get over the crushing tiredness I seem to have right now. I bought my Nephelai print-outs with me to re-read and get back in the groove.
