Crappy, crapy day

So, work has gone insanely busy, I've way too much to do and I have to do it with total cretins. These poeple are paid good money to do a job that is not rocket science and yet they seem to be doing the it like some monkey I found on the street. Actually a monkey would be nice as at least it'd be cute. Unless it was a stump tailed macaque, because they kind of freak me out.

Today, between endless planning meetings with my boss', boss' boss (which actually went ok), I had a meeting with a supplier manager who could not, or would not, understand what we were telling him. We told him in words of one syllable, we told him louder and slower, we drew pictures, we drew simpler, bigger pictures and I was only stopped from using interpretive dance because the hour ran out and the room was booked for another meeting.

 

Also, I flea treated the cat and now I'm itching. I hope it's psychosomatic.

 

I've got a sore nose. No explanation for it, it just hurts *pouts*

 

On the plus side I'm going to see Private Lives, the Noel Coward play, on Thursday :-)
